Compared to the disposable computers on wheels that people pay $40k and beyond for today these boring malaise cars are not all that bad although they sucked at the time. The Colenade GM’s like the “GTO”…(that pains me) are bringing decent money since normal working people can’t afford a four speed 64-72 A body. Myself,I choose the Fox body Cougar/Fairmont I actually have been wanting a clean one on the cheap. Healthy 5.0 with a stick in a wagon,,,sweet daily driver.

I like the malaise era cars! They ride nice, look boss, and are a simple engine swap away from glory! A 77’ F-body with gold anodized everything, caltracs, keystone klassics, and a gnarly exhaust note is still the coolest.

Absolutely HATE it anytime a company reuses an old nameplate and especially when it has NOTHING to do with the spirit of the original vehicle. Probably irritates me more than any 40 people I know.

For example, ANY time they ever ruined the Charger name from those Cordoba looking things, thru the Omni jokes, thru every modern 4 door one especially when they also throw the names Daytona and Super Bee on the same dumpster fire. Thanks for that insult!!

A GTX or Daytona pickup truck and a Chrysler Aspen SUV??? Thanks for those. Morons!!!

At least the new Challengers kinda look like the old ones but any time I hear somebody say they’re going to replace them with a Chrysler Cuda I just wanna kick them in the balls!!! Please DON’T!!
